Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Starring lets you put yourself — or someone who has given you permission — into fictional sports scenes. To keep it safe and legal, these rules are mandatory. Breaking them can result in removed content, a killed job, or a permanent ban.
Likeness & consent
- Only upload a photo of yourself, or of a person who has explicitly permitted you to create their likeness.
- No public figures, celebrities, athletes, or politicians.
- No creating someone’s likeness to harass, defame, deceive, or impersonate.
Minors
- Children may be depicted only by a parent or legal guardian, using the designated family templates, with attestation.
- Any sexualized, abusive, or exploitative content involving minors is strictly forbidden and reported.
No deception
You may not present Starring videos as real footage of real events, or use them to mislead, scam, or spread misinformation. Our scenes are fictional and should not be passed off as genuine broadcasts.
No real sports IP
Our templates deliberately avoid real leagues, clubs, crests, kits, broadcasters, federations, and athlete likenesses. Do not attempt to recreate or imply them.
Prohibited content
- Nudity, sexual content, or gore.
- Hate, harassment, or content promoting violence.
- Anything illegal in your jurisdiction.
Reporting
Every video page has a “Report” link. You can also email support@starring.video. We review reports promptly and remove violating content.
